You don't have blog posts based on your podcast episodes?

You're missing out!

If you're a podcaster in one of these niches:

  • Entrepreneurship and marketing

  • Health, wellness, and personal development

  • Arts and entertainment

Then I'm here to help you maximize your podcast content by turning your episodes into blog posts.

You created a podcast because you have big ideas and big dreams. Your podcast is a treasure trove of good information -- but it's only in audio form, and that comes with limitations. Sure, you have show notes. But those short descriptions just aren't enough to take your content to its full potential.

Here's why you need blog posts made from your podcast episodes:

1.

Not everyone wants to listen. Some people are more visual, and they prefer to read and look at pictures. These are people who would fall in love with your content if only you had it in the format they wanted!

2.

People are often in a hurry, and they may feel that they don't have time to listen to your episodes, especially if they're like me and they have a ton of podcasts on their list to listen to later! Even if you try to attract visual people with videos of your podcast episodes, not everyone has time to watch an entire video. They may prefer to just read a blog post.

3.

Clickable links. Your listeners need an easy way to visit websites that are mentioned during the episodes. You need blog posts for that. (Just listing links at the end of show notes does not include the context.) Plus, you can link to pages on your own website, too, which boosts SEO and keeps your audience engaged with your content for longer.

4.

Stand out. There are many, many people making podcasts these days. But a lot of them don't have blog posts based on their podcast episodes. If you do, you have an advantage over the podcasters who don't have them.

5.

The biggest reason: Having blog posts based on your podcast episodes is important for SEO. Blog posts make a huge difference. Social media posts and emails are important too, but they aren't long-lasting. Blog posts can be found by people months or years later. Search engines need a way to find your content, and the best way is by having blog posts!

Christina Galbato, entrepreneur and host of the podcast Her Life By Design, explains why she has blog posts made from her podcast episodes:

"Something that has worked really well for Her Life By Design is repurposing each episode into a blog post. These blog posts (like this one) offer a ton of valuable information shared in the episode while encouraging people to tune in to the show for more.

And the reason why that is so impactful is because repurposing each podcast episode as a blog post leverages two evergreen platforms. With proper SEO techniques and promotion on Pinterest, that blog post will be discoverable for years. Therefore people who discover that blog post can tune in to the relevant podcast episode years down the line."

My inspiration: I am inspired by these podcasters below for the excellent podcast-based blog posts they have on their websites. (I love how Christina's posts even include navigation links!) I want to provide this service to you, too.

Great news: I will do one post for FREE!! That's right, I am actually going to give you a completely free blog post, and then you can choose to pay for more posts.

Here is the pricing and approximate word count per post. You can buy one at a time, or save 15% by paying for a month's worth of posts upfront. Below are the prices in USD per single post:

Less than 15 minutes: $30 (300-500 words)

15 to 29 minutes: $50 (500-800 words)

30 to 44 minutes: $70 (800-1100 words)

45 to 59 minutes: $100 (1100-1400 words)

One hour plus: $130 (1400-1700 words)

Another note: I can also create compilation posts! That means I write one blog post that covers material from multiple episodes. This is especially great for podcasts where most episodes are less than 15 minutes, or podcasts with multiple episodes abut the same topic.

So if you're ready for me to write your free blog post, or you just have some questions, contact me by going to my homepage and scrolling to the bottom. Let's talk!
